Licensors and release windows determine the revenue split on your Shift72 platform.

Step 1:

Go to the ‘Store’ tab and select ‘Licensors’.

Step 2:

Click ‘Add a Licensor’, and give them a recognisable name.

Step 3:

Click on ‘Release Windows’ to open the release windows tab.

Step 4:

A new window will open on the right-hand side of the page. Here click ‘Add a Release Window’ and give it a recognisable name. This will be the revenue split for the licensor.

Step 5:

Click ‘Revenue Split Rules’ to modify the revenue split between you and the distributor.

Step 6:

You will be presented with this screen:

Here you can enter the revenue split per region and based on rental or purchase. Either percentage or value entries are required to be entered, both are not needed.

Note: If both a value and a percentage are used, the distributor will always take the larger amount.

Step 7:

Now navigate to the ‘Media’ tab and click on ‘Films.’

Step 8:

Find the film you want to add a revenue split too. Click on the pricing setup tab and scroll down to the ‘Release Window’ section.

Step 9:

Select the Release Window from the drop-down menu, then click ‘Save.’

N.B. Percentage revenue splits will be deducted After Tax. So a 50% split on a $10 rental with 10% tax, will only net the distributor $4.50.

Note: This only applies to percentage splits. On a floor value, the distributor receives the full amount set in the value field.
